Review by falklar for Rats Restaurant

This was to be a special occaision for my family and myself before I returned to Australia. Our initial reception was very cordial and the waiter was informative of the menu. We ordered and the appetisers came in good time, but after that the rest of the meal was disappointing. Half a litre (as in a small carafe) of the house red was enjoyed by the four of us. But then came the nearly three quarters of an hour wait for the rest of our meal. The management was apologetic, but that's all. The meal arrived and was pleasant, but we had to offset the wait with another carafe. At $44.00 a time! What a rip off! A gesture by the management, in the form of a glass of wine each would have been appreciated. As it turned out this was a very expensive lunch, and not a place we will recommend to others to eat.
